Sky over the hay field

Brother Russell had an early morning appointment in Churchtown so I drove him over and we went out to eat afterward.  Got home before 10 a.m. - plenty of time to get ready for tomorrow's election.   It was a cold morning.  Russ had asked me if the heat had been turned up in the town hall.  I texted one of the town board and he said he would take care of it today.   I've already figured out who I will vote for.   Made a note for myself on the white board for tomorrow morning to open up the door to the garage and take the cover off the doggy door to the outside run.  I'll take Whip for our usual morning constitutional but she'll be on her own the rest of the day.  Picked up my usual spicy Italian wrap at Subway, a bottle of water, and some chips.  That's been my go-to dinner & supper when working an election.  Got my latte for tomorrow morning from Gateway Gourmet in town.  McD's makes a smoother latte but Gateway's delivers a real caffeine jolt.  Changed the alarm time on my phone.  Laid out clothes for tomorrow morning.  Then got out my overnight bag and filled that w/ a complete other outfit.  Polls are open 13 hours plus the setup and counting & paperwork time at the end.  If I get dirt on my pants or spill on my shirt it will be nice to have the option of changing into other clothes.  Got on-line and printed out different attachments the clerk has sent me.  I think they are all duplicates of what she left at the town hall for us but if not I've got them.  Packed the phone charger plus my laptop and it's plug-in and put them in the car w/ the overnight bag.  Don't think I'll have much time down time tomorrow.  If I do, there is always the WWF app on my phone.
