First Frost

It frosted this morning.  Caught me by surprise.  The birdhouses had all been taken down.  The rain barrels emptied.   But my flowers were still outside.  It was a light frost so I'm hoping they will make it through.  This morning I tucked them away in Sleipnir.  You'd think I'd  know weather forecasters can't be trusted  within ten degrees.  Plus in looking back over the dates for 'first frost', we were certainly due.

Very interesting! With a couple of exceptions, your first frost seems to be edging later and later in the year. Climate change in action?
