Orange Hawkweed

As I mentioned, the two channels I get that run only old movies have been showing Halloween movies all month.  Last night one aired Frankenstein Meets The Space Monster. While the show abounds w/ various monstrous beings there isn't a Dr. Frankenstein nor a Frankenstein monster.  There is an astronaut android referred to as Frank whose capsule is shot down by Martians.  The capsule lands in Puerto Rico and Frank's visage has been horibbly mangled by a Martian ray gun.  The Martians are on the same island to capture bikini-clad women to bring back to Mars because Martian women have all died (except for their Princess.)  At the same time on the other old movie channel was showing Bubba Ho-Tep.  Figured from the name there must be a mummy and there was.  At a Texas retirement home where nothing seems to happen live two men.  One insists he is Elvis Presley and the other JFK.    A mummy is stolen from a museum, lost during a storm, reanimated, and comes to the nursing home dressed as a cowboy in order to 'suck souls'.  The two men realize all is not what it seems and hatch a plan to kill the mummy.  Both men have mobility issues - Elvis uses a walker and JFK a motherized wheelchair.  A great deal of dialog had to be bleeped.   I'm not sure I'd put either of the movies on my list of fav October movies.  Have got to admit, I've never seen anything like them before though.
