Whip

 Whip has been w/ me for a year now.  The shelter had given her the name Margarita which didn't suit her at all so I renamed her Whip.  I figured she would be 'as smart as a '.  She has lived up to her name.  From not knowing any commands when I got her, she will now sit, come, shake, and beg.  She also knows lay down, stay, retrieve, and pick up things for me on command.  We are working on the trick where she balances a treat on her nose and waits to eat it until I tell her - she's doing pretty well at it.  Plus this morning on our constitutional we went into Sleipnir where I thought I should crack open the windows so the heat wouldn't build up.  Whip said it would be better to leave the windows closed.  I went along w/ her suggestion and later we had an unexpected downpour of 1 1/2 inches of rain.  Maybe she smelled the rain coming?
