Friend Kathy stayed overnight and left this morning to go back to the Big City. As she packed her car to leave it started to snow. First snow always make me happy. Kathy wasn't so enamored of driving back in the stuff. As a fellow Texan she noted that Whip was shivering in the cold. It was below freezing but I hadn't considered that might be too cold for a dog that was out and about. When it came for our long walk of the day, I wondered what I could do to keep her warm. Remembered my sister Connie had sent a sweater for Indy one Christmas so I retrieved that. Whip compliantly allowed me to put it on her. It fit her perfectly and she had no problems walking/running in it. (Not to mention that it looks darn cute on her.) I will probably need to see if I can get Whip more t-shirts, vests, or coats. Never ever thought I'd ever be clothes shopping for a dog.

My first thought was “how’d she get a sweater so fast?” Poor Whip was shivering so yesterday. She looks adorable. Did you have a sweater for Kathy, too?
