Present wrapping

Celebrated our GNO Christmas (2019) today.  A little different than past celebrations.  Usually we go out to a nice restaurant - this year we met in Mjolnir's garage.  Usually we have a nice dinner before opening gifts - today it was take-out from Subway.  Usually opening gifts occurs in someone's warm living room - today it was 45 degrees w/ a stiff wind and the garage door and windows open.  I'd raised the garage temp to 70 degrees the night before and Nancy brought over a space heater.  If you sat in the sun, out of the wind, and had a coat on, it was tolerable.  This year's gift theme, as I said yesterday, included writing an original short story (minimum three pages) which mentioned the gift given.  So each of us read our story, gave our gift, and then there was a little banter about what the gift might be as it was opened.  Must say our stories were as interesting and imaginative as the gifts.  Rather enjoyed this topic.  Before departing we decided on the theme for 2020 Christmas: Semordnilap,
