Ski hill on an autumn dawn

Yesterday the president started the official process of pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord.  The president says it will cause an unfair economic burden on the country.  (He did this the same week Delhi residents have to wear masks just to go outside.)   The president has said the U.S. has the purest air in the world but, in fact, we rank 10th and have to issue smog alerts periodically for our largest cities.  Surprisingly I find myself agreeing w/ North Korea, a country that  ranks in the bottom half of the nations in carbon emissions but has signed the Paris Climate Accord, which referred to the president's withdrawal as ' the height of egotism."
