Amaryllis

My amaryllis is blooming again. It often blooms in the winter months which makes a nice splash of color when the world is white.  I save all of the instructions that come w/ various things I buy in folders. Was going through the "Other" folder recently to cull out the instructions for things I no longer own.  Found a sheet on the care of Amaryllis which I assume I picked up when I bought this flower.  If so, the sheet has a date of 2007 on it.  I read through it and realized I haven't been doing all of the things I'm suppose to for this kind of plant.  Since I don't have a green thumb, Amaryllis must be not only beautiful but tougher little guys than I thought.
