1941 - Just goofing around

Mom and Dad were just having fun.  Dad was a good shot w/ a rifle but I don't remember ever seeing a pistol around nor Mom nonchalantly sticking to the saddle of a rearing horse.  Pictures were probably taken on a trip to Arizona.

I picked up a renewal of my usual medicine today.  The pharmacist remarked how expensive one of the generics was.  I looked.  It had doubled in price for the same amount  w/ the same insurance from 3 months ago.  I asked if they were going through my insurance and she said they had.  Then I asked if that was the best price they could offer.  "If you pay for it w/o insurance it would be $30 less."  was the response.  So I did that.   Think when I picked out my Rx insurance I picked - unwisely.

I wonder if the hurricane had anything to do with the increase in price. My Rx went up 140% from 3 months ago because it was produced in Puerto Rico.

I have seen these pictures before. Grandma told me once they were taken on their honeymoon.
