Dandelion at sunrise
My brothers explained to me the concept of an HOA (Home Owners Association). Seems if you own a home in an HOA area, you pay dues to the HOA and they watch to make sure you keep your house and lawn like everyone else's. Brings to mind communist China under Mao but it may be that when you have lots of people living close to each other extra rules are necessary to prevent neighbors fighting. I'm more use to living where there are acres of land between houses. The advantage is I'm free to fashion a birdbath out of old kitchen utensils and put it in my yard. My neighbors can visit, politely remark how "interesting" my artwork is but, after they go home, never have to see it again.

Yup, that's why we have HOA's. Not sure I see the beauty of a toilet with flowers growing out of it.

Or a bath tub.
