Picked up Nancy for breakfast and then we went back to her house to look at the progress made. You remember last September, while Nancy and Don were on vacation, the inside of their house burned. Their neighbors were leaving to go south for the winter and offered Nancy and Don the use of their home while Nancy & Don cleared out what few things were retrievable from the wreckage, worked things out w/ insurance, and acted as general contractors on rebuilding. They are now two weeks out from their neighbors returning to the north. Tiling, cupboards, walls, and windows are in. Toilets, sinks, and carpeting yet to do. Nancy and Don should be able to move back into their own house just on time.
