Pictures from my cousin, Paul.
My cousin Paul, and his daughter, Molly, came over on Saturday to practice shooting their new rifle. Shooting from the deck and down one of the paths turned out to be a good way to go. First they used paper bullseye targets. After that practice they got inventive: apples and plums from my trees, large marshmallows, telephone book, a deck of playing cards, and a florist foam block. The telephone book was from the Big City so it was pretty thick and stopped a few bullets. The marshmallow and foam block disappointed by only producing a little hole through and through. However, the apples from my tree were very satisfying w/ bits of apple flying and a backboard full of juice.

We had a great time Sue!! Thanks again for everything. See you in a few weeks.
Really wish I could have joined you. Looking forward to getting rid of this kidney stone, even if it means having surgery next Tuesday. One way or another, this too shall pass.
