Chokecherries (not yet ripe)
Brent needed some extra luggage so I got out the gift my parents gave me when I graduated from high school. (A subconscious nudge letting me know it was time to leave home?) I had nested the luggage inside each other and in the middle I was storing records. Yep, those old vinyl LPs. Brent was chuckling at what I had been unable to toss even though I have no way to play them: a couple of Carley Simon, Michael Jackson's Thriller, Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays (a present from a grateful intern who was into jazz), Fleetwood Mac, Huey Lewis & the News, Footloose, Kiss, Kansas, Art Garfunkle, James Taylor, and, others. Of course my all-time fav is Leonard Nimoy singing as Mr. Spock.
