Had a family reunion at my place over the weekend. My niece and her family kicked things off on Friday night by hosting a cookout at the ski hill cabin. Saturday festivities were at my place. The meal consisted of plates of cheese, meat, veggies, and, anyone who could, brought a dish to pass. My sister-in-law was in charge of games. This is a picture of Team II - winners of the scavenger hunt (a close game w/ the other team losing by only a frog). A downpour cut short the fireworks display but my brother Brent finished them up on Sunday night. Fun to meet and greet all of the cousins. (So much better than only getting together for funerals.)

It was a wonderful reunion! So fun to visit with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, second cousins, etc. Thanks so much for rounding us all up! Yes, we did win the scavenger hunt!! Nancy was our team captain but she did not make it into the picture. Elizabeth and Gene's 50th celebration was starting indoors and she was called away!

Still had fun doing the fireworks even though the weather was not cooperating. I think we had about 16? to watch them Sunday night. Thanks again for all the work you did in hosting the reunion.
Fantastic time last weekend! It was wonderful getting to catch up with everyone.
