Red-winged Blackbird (female)

When I walked to the car this morning I was mentally kicking myself. There low in the east was a great picture - a crescent moon in conjunction w/ Venus. If I'd been up-to-date w/ reading the Star & Telescope website, I'd have known about it and maybe gotten up earlier. Didn't even get to enjoy seeing it on the way to work - had to watch for deer (saw three).
