Blue Vervain

Now that Justin is trained in he's only working weekends. The hoofer was on-site so Mike and the herdsman were busy moving cows for him. Juanita and I were on our own scrubbing the parlor this morning. The boss stopped by to talk for a moment. He said Justin felt bad about breaking the gate w/ the skid-steer and offered to pay for it. The boss told him to keep his money. Then the boss found out Justin had never even driven a vehicle before this. So the boss got out their old truck and gave Justin a driving lesson in one of the mowed hay fields. Also, the boss noticed that Justin is getting faster at cleaning the barn so the boss had him spend his extra time scrubbing the parlor walls (I thought they looked better than I expected this morning). If you are willing to learn, farm life will teach you perseverance, responsibility, and the joys of hard work. (Well... sometimes you have to search for the "joy" part.)

Glad to hear Justin can learn from the error of his ways.

Don't remember "Joy" either, but do remember Satisfaction when a job was completed. Do you remember the times it took both you and I to lift hay bales on the wagon? Ugh, that was hard work.
