Black Bear

Indy and I were doing our bird house check when we saw another bear. I snapped on Indy's leash and ripped the safety off the pepper spray but the bear looked like a yearling and probably wasn't going to be any threat. Indy started barking. The bear took off.  It did get me to wondering if my plan to protect the birdhouses by putting solar lights by each one was going to work. Bears forage by night and day. However, all of the houses were still intact even though around half of them are full of fledglings right now. Cross your fingers.
