Tree Swallows checking out a cozy summer rental

Lisa's last day at the dairy.  Well ... her actual last day will be Easter but since I don't work weekends, today was the last day I'll work w/ her.  She and her new husband got a job in another town taking care of an organic farm.  She'll still be milking cows - just a lot fewer.  I'll miss her a lot.  It's not like we were BFF's or even that we talked much during work.  However, I always knew that on Friday I wouldn't be milking w/ the herdsman.  It was the highlight of my week.

Nice to see the tree swallows back. When will you start your weekly rounds of checking the boxes? Any sign of bluebirds nesting?

Steve and I saw bluebirds (male + female) in the birdhouse closest to gorgeous gorge last week. We saw bluebird flying near the nest near the road too.
