Rose Breasted Grosbeak

The warmer weather has brought out the birds and the bees.  Found blue bird eggs and tree swallow eggs in some of the houses that Brent & Phil put up.  My lawn is full of dandelions and the honey, bumble, and orange-belted bees are buzzing from one flower to the next.  There aren't that many things blooming yet for them so I am happy to be able to provide a little sustenance for them.  It's also a great rationalization for my lawn being green and gold this spring.

(P.S. Please forgive the bird feeder.  A bear crunched it trying to get to the seeds inside.  I straightened it out as best I could but it remains a little funky looking.)

Why don't you try selling the funky feeder at some upscale City shop? Each time a bear banngles one up, you,ll have another to sell. Just an idea.
Good picture of the bird. Used to see a couple in KY. Sure miss the birds. They have been singing pretty past several days.JVM
