This little red fox has been frequenting the area. Good thing. After the snow melted, I saw hundreds of vole tunnels through the grass. Indy went nuts when she saw the fox hunting in the backyard last night. I watched the fox flinch when she heard her barking and disappear into tall grass. Very soon, however, the fox realized that Indy was confined somehow and no threat. The brazen little hussy walked down one of the paths and came within a few feet of the house. Probably also a good thing. I see that something has taken up residence under the deck and a fox is just the check and balance I need.
