Sunrise on the Vernal Equinox

The USNO site was down for two days so I didn't have an exact time of moonrise last night.  I was out on the deck waiting and hoping.  We had a bunch of clouds and a light mist falling so I didn't know if I'd get to see it at all.  Suddenly the coyotes all over the countryside started up a long sustained howl.  It was one of those spine-tingling moments as the full moon emerged from the clouds.  Pretty cool.  I'll post a picture of it later.  To celebrate the first day of spring, felt more like a sunrise picture was in order.  Hope you all celebrated!

The sunrise is very nice and appropriate for spring. I waited until over 1/2 hour after the predicted moon rise. Finally, I peeked out behind the largest cloud in the sky. No good pictures. Just cold feet and frozen fingers.
