Raisin Pie Orchid

The state rep (for the district where I used to live) is urging her constituents not to fill out the census form. She said the info on it was used during WWII to round-up Americans of Japanese ancestry and put them in internment camps. That was 70 years ago and she's a crack-pot so I fully plan on filling out my form. Once I get it. Checked w/ some neighbors and they've not only received their form but sent it back already. The Census Bureau will send out reps to follow up w/ people who didn't return their forms but if I didn't receive a form in the first place, how are they going to check up on me? Guess I'd better take the initiative and find out how to become part of the count.

I think you will be safe, it is very unlikely the government will be rounding up those of you with German ancestry anytime in the near future.
