2:33 a.m. - Deputy came upon an active campfire in the middle of the boat access road with beer cans around it. No vehicles or persons in the immediate area. Deputy put out the fire and cleaned the area.
8:55 a.m. - Walk-in to Sheriff's office reporting a missing firearm. Complainant reported a pocket sized .22 Magnum revolver was stolen from a dresser drawer. Complainant states she spent the past four weeks searching her residence and wants it reported so she wasn't responsible if firearm is used unlawfully. Case is under investigation.
9:03 a.m. - Caller reports someone spray painted brown paint all over the caller's and husband's head stone located at the cemetery. Wants to meet with a deputy there. Complainant states their relative saw the headstone untouched two months ago and believes they know who did it.
1:37 p.m. - Two calls form nurses at Clinic indicating they believe a female individual may be under the influence. Female has three children with her and left two small children in the vehicle while in the clinic. Officer requested a second unit as female is not acting right. Female was taken into custody.
2:12 p.m. - Caller has questions regarding their driveway. They do not reside in the county and have a lot of people coming to their property on a ring camera asking for permission to hunt there. Caller asking if they can put up a couple posts with a chain across their driveway. Would there be an issue if emergency services needed to access the property in case of fire? Deputy told them EMS would likely cut the lock if needed.
2:28 p.m. - Caller has questions about how to prevent vehicles from turning around in their driveway. Complainant was informed he can make a sign or he can block off his driveway as long as the obstacle is outside of the right-of-way. Complainant was informed that county just shut down the bridge. People are still figuring it out and traffic will probably drop off over the next few days. Next day 12:12 p.m. - Request for deputy to check on a tractor that is parked in a driveway but the plow on tractor is sticking out over the white line. Deputy spoke with tractor owner who is upset that people are turning around in his driveway due to the bridge being shut down. He's upset that people are causing damage to the gravel. Tractor owner agreed to move tractor further back into his driveway.
5:01 p.m. - Caller states that she lost her purse at Kwik Trip. Officer checked location and wallet is not there. Workers stated she bought some items and left store with her purse. Caller found purse in her car.
5:58 p.m. - Complainant reports highschoolers driving recklessly having a water gun fight in their vehicles.
8:56 p.m. - Caller reports his attorney tried to threaten/intimidate him over the phone into taking a deal on his case. Caller brought this up to the judge in another county's court to get the attorney to recuse himself. Judge denied. The attorney stated that he either "take the deal or he was going to smoke him in court". The judge advised caller to contact law enforcement. Officer stated this is a common phrase regarding someone losing badly in court. Caller felt this was a threat and feels his trial would not be fair. Attempt to contact attorney in question was unsuccessful, he will be contacted later.
