Stocking the pond

Breakfast at the Toad House and then we went to check out Ace Hardware.  Sheila was looking for some outside tables, Phil was looking to see if they still carried Zar stain.  I was checking out the bait fish.  When a store employee (the fish expert) said they keep the fish tanks at 42 degrees because the fish do well in cold water I figured today would be a good day to buy them.  Outside it was in the 40's, overcast, and spitting rain.  I bought a pail to carry them in and a 'scoop' each of fatheads and crappies.  As I walked out of the store w/ my bucket of fish, a guy passed me, smiled, and asked if 'They were biting'.  Phil said he would have liked to have seen the guy's face if I responded, "Oh, I'm not fishing - I'm setting them free!"
