Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:
3:29 a.m. - Call from female requesting officer's assistance to remove a drunk belligerent male from her home. Man left after she called 911. 5:30 a.m. - Call from male requesting assistance to retrieve his belongings from his lady friend's house. Male was allowed back in home so they can work things out. Everything OK.
8:53 a.m. - Officer spoke to juvenile about showing private parts to another student in class. Student said he wanted to make other student laugh.
9:09 a.m. - Caller requests a welfare check on her mother who she hasn't heard from since Wednesday. Investigation of her whereabouts resulted in finding out that she is in jail in a different county.
11:28 a.m. - Officer giving an elderly male a ride to Kwik Trip. He was trying to get there with his walker.
1:13 p.m. - Caller reports a female throwing garbage off the bridge. Officer spoke with female who stated she was throwing people's ashes and a pair of army boots over the bridge. Was cited for littering.
1:46 p.m. - Person wishing to speak to deputy in regards to selling firearms at a garage sale.
3:03 p.m. - Caller reports a blind man laying in the ditch. He took a wrong turn while following the rope to his mailbox. Deputy assisted with helping him up.
4:28 p.m. - Male pulled over for traffic stop utilized middle finger and grabbing at crotch area gestures. Was cited for no plate visible and a loud exhaust.
4:53 p.m. - Call from ER requesting check on patient that left the hospital with an IV in their arm. Officer spoke with individual who refused to have EMS come and remove the IV. Officer asked brother of individual to try to convince him to get IV removed at hospital.
7:30 p.m. - Complainant reporting someone put stuffed animals on construction equipment.
7:37 p.m. - Complainant reports he located his father's trailer that he thought was stolen. He wants to confirm that his dad actually sold it. Individual showed deputy a signed title and pictures of him using the trailer over a couple of years.
9:34 p.m. - Towing company reports a customer has a vehicle rolled over and partially submerged in a creek with diesel fuel spilled in the pond. DNR notified. Deputy located vehicle driver at nearby bar who was cited for failing to notify police of an accident.
