Aunt & Uncle's gravesite
Colder and rainy today. Not so cold that there is a danger of frost so first I moved all of the overwintered & repotted plants out of Sleipnir. They will like the gentle rain and I can move them to their summer spots along the deck later when things dry off. Back inside I put the latest Anne Hillerman audio-book on my disk player and started picking up around the house. Rescued the cat's stuffed mouse from the communal water dish (well, I don't drink from it). I switch out cat toys from time to time so they have something different to 'stalk & kill'. Lately, Blitz has been picking up these toys and depositing them in the water dish where she can bat at them while they float. I've found feathers, plastic easter eggs & balls, and, today, the mouse. I hung it by it's tail in the laundry room. It probably floated initially but is completely sodden now. For his part, Dunder likes to knock things off the wall. Today I watched him squeeze behind the TV, reach up as far as possible, and paw at the swag until it was hanging by one edge. Wondered why those things were sometimes askew.
