Installing the solar panels

I was off for appointments at 6:30 a.m.  They were done by 7:30.  I hadn't yet had breakfast plus there was more snow due tomorrow.  I decided to pick up groceries in Churchtown.  Friend Nancy lives on the way.  I gave her a call and invited her out for breakfast.  Her husband is out of town and I knew she didn't have to work today at the tax consulting firm.  We had breakfast and since we both needed groceries, we picked those up before I dropped her off at her place on my way back home.  The solar power crew was here again installing the panels today.  Yesterday's crew included one of the company owners and a cat operator.  The cat operator wasn't needed and employees were back from vacation so the new crew included one of the guys from yesterday and two new installers.  The head guy came over and said Digger's Hotline must have come this morning.  They had put markers out (right over the ones the crew had put out yesterday to mark the electrical line.)  I had left too early and didn't see them.  (I thought that is one job where it's not better late than never.)  I reminded the head guy that Mjolnir was still unlocked in case they needed to use the bathroom.  I'd turned on the hot water and put out fresh towels yesterday.  The thermostat in there is only set to 50 but walking in from the outside single digit cold makes it feel very comfy.   At 4 p.m. a knock at the door and the head guy said they'd finished.   I had worried they would look ugly but instead I rather like the neat straight-lined grey-black panel facade.  Hook up to the electrical system will probably wait until spring.  Quite efficient to have this much done so early in the year.

I'm curious; how many panels do you have set up? How much electricity does that give you? Rebecca
