Barn Quilt

Woke up to bright sunshine this morning.  Whip and I got our walk in early.    When the wind started picking up I knew the forecasted rain storm was coming.  This will be the same storm that will probably keep me from seeing the solar eclipse on Monday.  Not a problem.  A total solar eclipse occurs on the Earth  about every 18 months.  (OK - most are viewable only in hard to get places.)  After a spring rain, however,  seeing ferns unfurl, grasses peek from the soil, little mouse-eared sized leaves emerge on trees, and wild flowers bloom - priceless.

It looks like Indiana is going to have a good viewing today of the Eclipse. Walmart has had Moon Pies on sale for a week now in celebration.
