A plethora of Amaryllis

Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

11:41 a.m. - Caller said her dog got out this morning and was running around the village.  While the dog was running around, another neighbor had a gun in his hand and chasing it to shoot it.  Caller thought it was against the law to have a gun in the village.  Officer advised it is not illegal to possess a firearm in the village - only to shoot it.

2:29 p.m. - Driver drove wrong way south on one-way street.  She said she thought she could because she lives on that road.  Verbal warning given.

2:38 p.m. - County transit reports a woman too drunk to get off the bench and onto the bus.  Officers arrived and could not find woman.  Another caller reported this same woman outside the building unable to get off the ground.  Officer checked with bartender, who reported the woman had not consumed any alcohol.

4:34 p.m. - Caller requests an officer to come speak with them about a harassement complaint.  Officer advised them to come to the law enforcement center when sober.

4:43 p.m. - Caller reported being asked to show an ID by a man wearing body armor, body camera, and carrying a sidearm.  The man became threatened by the caller's spouse.  Officer explained there have been similar issues with this man acting like law enforcement but due to the fact he did not identify as a police officer no crime was committed.

4:51 p.m. - 911 call reporting multiple people dead in a residence.  Many units responded.  Area cleared.  Person of interest released.  Caller has metal issues.

7:56 p.m. - Caller reports things missing from home when she returns.  Today it is a big vase of flowers, pain pills, two pairs of glasses, and two Apple ear buds.  Damage to sofa also reported.

9:16 p.m. - Vehicles reported on the road in front, possibly casing the house.  Caller doesn't know who they are but he is going to go looking for them.
