Our first real snowstorm of the season. The weatherman suggested everyone be home by noon and tuck in for the rest of the day. Snow flakes were already flying when Whip and I took our walk, when I tossed the compost bucket contents, and when I picked up the extention cord from Mjolnir and put it in the back of the car. As promised, by afternoon the snow was coming down pretty good plus the wind had picked up. Good time to put out the rest of the spring decorations. I use neutral colors for furniture and walls and accessorize w/ a seasonal color. The color I chose for spring is pink. I stood in the middle of the house when I finished and looked around. There are patches of pink everywhere - rugs, napkins, knicknacks, swags, towels, hand soap, some pictures. The effect was as if Oppenheimer imploded the bomb on top of Barbie. Can see why I became a DBA and not a decorator.
