Happy Leap Day

It's my 17th Leap Day.  Thought I should celebrate in some way but couldn't think of anything.  Asked a friend and she said I should do something I'd been putting off.  Well ... I haven't pre-paid for my funeral yet so thought I'd call up the funeral home and start the process.   As the day progressed I was having second thoughts about this being a good way to laud the day so put it off for next month.  I did have lunch out, stopped by to see neighbors Anita and Doug, and then went to library duty.   Anita filled me in on what occurred at the latest County Board Meeting.  The shenanigans that were going on seemed unbelievable but she said it is all on YouTube so when the last library patron left tonight, I watched a little of it.  I sincerely hope the April election will result in a massive turn over of members.  Whip was so happy to see me when I got home, I dropped my stuff and we went for a walk in the dark. By the time we got back I had decided how to celebrate - I started on my taxes.
