1:35 a.m. - Caller advised there is a man behind the bar who won't leave. Two people in the bar had a disagreement and one called the other a slur. One of them reported being hit by the other and the bartender also hit him in the face. Several other in the bar said they hadn't seen these things happen while others said they did see them. Both parties agreed to leave and the bar owner advised he was no longer welcome back. Officers stayed on site until everyone left but prior to leaving one urinated on the street by the sidewalk. City officer issued this person a ticket for public urination.
2:25 a.m. - County officer advised subject wants to speak with a city officer about previous incident. City officer spoke at length with subject and at the end he advised he understood why law enforcement came to the decision they did. Subject apologized for urinating on the sidewalk and expressed thankfulness several times not bringing any complaint about an assault.
9:24 a.m. - Walk-in report from subject reporting he was trying out a friend's shotgun and neighbor walked out of woods. Neighbor upset and told reporting party he was going to stick the gun up his butt. Information only in case there are more issues with his neighbor.
5 p.m. - Caller advised subject didn't show up for a birthday party. Requested welfare check. Found deceased in bed.
8:30 p.m. - Person advises items they left at a gravesite were stolen and knocked over. Advised it could be an older man in a wheelchair or scooter going up and down rows earlier in the day. Extra patrols for cemetery requested.
8:46 p.m. - Caller reported white truck driving erratically and brushing against all of the crosswalk signs in the middle of the highway between railroad tracks and McDonalds. No signs were damaged or knocked down. No marks on vehicle. Subject came out of McDonalds and admitted to everything. Registered owner advised he could be ticketed and warned of the dangers of driving like that. He was apologetic and agreed it was a bad decision. Officer advised subject to learn from this incident. Subject stated he was "messing around with his friends." Officer advised the subject of proper driving and to avoid future incidents like this.
9:21 p.m. - Caller asked to check on subject who sounded "down in the dumps" the last time they spoke. Subject hasn't answered phone in almost a day. Officer advised the subject is currently incarcerated at the county jail.
11:15 p.m. - Caller advised bear hunters will not leave after being asked to do so. Caller 'assumed' they were trespassing but didn't know for sure. Officer informed caller a ticket can't be written on an assumption and being on the road is not illegal. Hunters said they have dogs about a half-mile north and they were in the area to try and stop dogs from trespassing.
