Hazelnuts

Switching the house over to Autumn colors.  Inside the house is a lot of light oak wood plus grey & black tones.  Brightens up w/ an orange throw over the back of the sofa, orange rag rugs in the kitchen along w/ orange dish towls and cloths.  Lifted the TV and slipped a orange and black runner under it.  Hung garlands of leaves over the ends of the breakfront and on the opposite side of the room placed a swag of colorful leaves in my grandmother's orange vase atop the grandmother clock (rather fitting).  Removed the yellow rugs I keep on top of the window seats and replaced them w/ orange ones.  The lilypad candle holder is now one crafted to look like a bunch of bats.  Removed the cat butt accents on the window frames.  Had bet my friends no one would notice them and at least no one mentioned them to me over the summer.  Instead I put up accents of bats, black cats, and leaves.  The sunflower print quilt in the spare bedroom has been washed and put away.  The black & white buffalo print quilt is now on the bed and the wall hanging is one w/ candy corn appliques on a black background. Put away the coffee table book on plants and replaced it w/ one on witches.  Still have more to do but the forecast storms are coming and I can see the lightning flashes.  Think I'll just turn off all of the lights and watch the show.
