Chive (plant I threw out years ago)

Hit the 80's yesterday and a little muggy.  Didn't really need the A/C and wouldn't have turned it on anyway.  Turn the A/C on in May? - not in the Northwoods.  After picking up some more  plants at the nursery, I got everything tucked away, did some weeding, and took the dog for a final walk.  Jumped in the shower to get some of the grime off and was sitting on the bed ready when PBS aired the latest episode of The Seaside Hotel.   Each season's episodes follows the guests and staff of one summer at a small hotel in Denmark on the shores of the North Sea.  It's 1932 this season and some of the guests are concerned about the Nazi's who have come to power in neighboring Germany. (cue ominous music)  After that show finished, I opened all of the windows in the house.  Had a little trouble drifting off to sleep so thought about what I wanted for breakfast in the morning.  I've used this little trick before and am not sure why it works but next thing I knew the sun was rising and the house was cool.  Closed all of the windows and took off for downtown.  That's what I had decided I wanted for breakfast - to eat out.
