Happened to wake at 4 a.m. so turned on the TV and let the Coronation of Charles III lull me back to sleep. When the alarm woke me, the coronation was still in progress and the color commentators were still remarking about the pagentry in between wondering if Harry would be on the balcony. A rainy day so that limited outside activities. (Whip hates getting her face wet.) Finished up the last puzzle of the year. Had started it back at the end of February but then we got that stretch of warm weather and my jigsaw mania waned. If I wanted to put away the puzzle table I had to finally finish this last one. Bet Two Phils would win the derby. He came in second but what a great race to watch! The UPS guy dropped off something I purchased for Mjolnir. Took me two hours to assemble but it looks really good out there. Svengoolie aired "Blackula" for his vintage horror movie tonight. Friend Kathy and I texted back and forth while we watched. Unfortunately afterward I heard about another mass shooting. If I wanted to make another bet it would be that officials will say/tweet/message "
Our hearts and prayers are w/ you" and still do absolutely nothing.
