Used the back door while the roofers finished the side over the front door. I patrol the perimeter of the house after the morning constitutional but before the roofers arrive to pick up refuse. Surprisingly little - carried it in one hand. This is the third day of 60+ temps in a row and I've forgiven Mother Nature for the 15" of snow she deposited on April Fool's Day. The swamps are working hard to soak up and slow down the snowmelt runoff before releasing the excess into the creeks. Sometimes roadways get in the way so I did come across water trickling across in places. The snow in the fields is gone and I checked on Gorgeous Gorge to see that the dam was holding. The water is high but not going over the top nor seeping through the bottom of the dam. A little surprised that the center of the pond is still ice. Only one errand on the calendar today. I put Whip in the car yesterday and she got a McD's hamburger and a 'pup cup' of icecream. Today, she was eager to go again but this time it was to the vets for her annual Lyme's shots. I did lower the window enough on the way home so she could hang her head out. Warm enough that I put up window screens so I could catch the breeze and funnel it through the house. Even put a load of clothes out on the line. The roofers finished w/ everything around 4 p.m. They left equipment that the boss will pick up tomorrow. Then it's just removing the construction dumpster and I'm parking in the garage once more.

Interesting picture. You could call it art and name it "Two Pitch Forks in a Vent Pipe".
