Bathroom Stand

Brother Phil made a bathroom stand for the guest bath in 2010.  It's out of oak was made to eactly fits between the sink and the wall.  It isn't just a stand though (don't you want all furniture to be multi-purpose?)  This stand has a large enough area at the floor to easily keep a laundry basket - neat and out of the way.  It has a slated shelf (allows for air movment in bathrooms which tend to be high in humidity) where I place towels for guests.  Most guests prefer to open up the laundry closet and pull out a towel in a color they like.  They probably  consider these towels on display as decoration.  (Yes, the colors change w/ the seasons.)  Phil built in lights under the top and put in three open slots in the top.  I made three stained glass panels for it.  That makes a pretty yet stable surface for guests to put their travel kits and it also becomes a night-light for late trips to the lavetory.   A fun, functional, and handsome piece of furniture.
