Think Spring

The Vernal Equinox is almost here.  Time to put winter away and bring out spring.   I lit my last wassail scented candle and got to work.  Switched out the evergreen swag over the TV for a grouping of pink flowers and ribbons.  The flour bags on loan from my sister and brother-in-law that I had in the guest bathroom are replaced by the original Beaman painting Shell on Physics Book.  The dishes on display in the hutch have pastoral scenes - substituted for the ones w/ winter scenes.   The jewelry Christmas Tree over the fireplace is put away and the the mounted bag of Brome Grass seed is in it's place.  The red and green dish towels, dish clothes, and pot holders are now various shades of pink.  Rugs, throws, pillows are washed and put away to be changed to more seasonal colors.  Knicknacks of bunnies and eggs take the place of snowmen and dancing deer. The house inside of the house drips spring - just have to wait for outside the house to catch up.
