The roofer sent me pictures he took from the roof and a proposal. Good thing I had him climb around up there earlier this week. A late season storm began last night as a dusting of snow which turned into a misty rain by morning. The weatherman warned this was just the beginning though. He said it would sprinkle all day but by tomorrow we could have another 8" of snow. I drove to the grocery store. Have enough in the pantry for the weekend but if I was going to have to sit hrough another snowstorm, I want comfort food. Picked up my mail. Asked Neighbor Anita if I could come over for coffee. We had some things to talk over for the upcoming election (plus she explained the referenda), discussed news, and we got a little gossip in. Then I was ready to cloister for awhile. The thunderstorm started around 5 p.m. The rain really picked up around 7. Rain switched over to snow by 9. I had run into my plow guy at the restaurant on Tuesday and jokingly asked if I'd seen the last of him. He gave me a wry smile and reminded me it wasn't the end of March yet. Hadn't realized how correct he was.
