Hutch

The plan was to stay put today.  At 9 a.m. when the plow guy came through I suddenly had the desire to go somewhere.  Bopped downtown to pick up mail and a paper.  Would have dropped off some books I finished at the library but they weren't open nor was lot plowed so I couldn't get to the drop box.  This morning the list of school closures had scrolled across the TV screen during the news.  I hadn't seen our school listed (though everywhere around us was) so assumed the library would be open.   Thought about going through the car wash but that was closed also - might be too cold to run it.   Drove to Subway for a sandwich and then home.  Changed around the dishes in the hutch so those w/ a winter scene were displayed.   Then changed out the autumn pictures in the bathroom and computer room for winter ones.  It's is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.
