Flat-topped Asters

At the last Friends of the Library meeting it was decided to store the books for the semiannual library sale in the same order they would be displayed for sale.  Usually we put them in order - fiction by author and non-fiction by content - the day before the sale.  Tonight we all got together to do that and put them in storage.  Dolores and I worked non-fiction.  We had a section for cookbooks, medical, self-help, coffee-table, history, crafts, biography, and textbooks.  Then we put them all in boxes to be placed on the new shelves in the storeroom.  We won't have a fall sale this year so the books will be sitting around probably until spring.  By that time, I'm pretty sure someone will have shoved in other donated books here and there on the shelves and everything will need to be resorted.  Still was a fun together.  For amusement we read aloud the. back covers of some Harlequin's.  "She was like  a wild and untamed colt never saddled until he came to town ..."
