Lilies

Picked some tomatos from the garden and fresh basil from my herb container for this morning's omelet.  Out on the deck the dog padded the length of the deck, rolled over in the grass to give herself a backrub, and sparred w/ Blitzen through the glass back door.  I listened to an audio book while staring out over green fields and blue hills.   More of the Oriental (I think) lilies are in bloom so the air is heavily scented w/ their fragrance.  The dog and I spend as much time as possible outside.  Want to build up memories of these halcyon days  to remember this winter when it's been overcast for a month, the once pristine snow is trampled and dirty, and the high temp for the week is below zero.
