Birthday Cake

My friends expressed disgust when I told them I found a mouse on my bathroom floor in the morning.  (Assume it came in while the garage door was being replaced.)   I explained that since the bathroom floor is white tile, the little bugger was easy to see when I walked in half asleep so I didn't step on it.  Also, the cats killed the mouse.  They could have gotten tired of playing w/ it and left it half-alive.  Finally, it was on the floor instead of in my bed.  Cats are notorious for leaving little 'gifts' for their humans.   Considering all that could have occurred, I am golden.
