Sunset

There is a note on the weather forecast on my phone: 'Unhealthy Air Quality'.  I was wondering what, out here in the hinterlands, would cause that condemnation.  It's sometimes smelly like when a skunk is defending itself or farmers are spreading manure.  Odiferous but not unhealthy.  The sun has been setting as a big red ball lately and I can smell wood smoke.  Must be 'unhealthy' because the smoke from Canadian forest fires are caught up in high level winds and deposited here.  It's not an unpleasant smell (unless you think of what's causing it) and the haze isn't thick enough to impede travel.  Doesn't seem to raise the temps or humidity - these last few days have been wonderful.  To me it just gives more of a 'summery' essence to everything.
