Nannyberry blossoms

Dunder was feeling full of himself this morning.  He stretched full length up my leg meowing to be held.  He ducked outside when I opened the door.  (He easily came back in 'cause it was hot and humid this morning and there is A/C on in the house).  As I sat at the table he was head and shoulders deep into my purse checking into what he might find in it's depths.   I hadn't put away all of my recent purchases from Penzy Spices so decided to see if he liked any of their smells.  Thought he would go nuts over the Herbs de Provence.  (I do.)  He gave it a sniff and turned back toward the purse.  Figured he would hate Ancho Chili.  No.  He rubbed a cheek against it.  Wasn't sure what he might make of Roasted Garlic.  Another cheek rub and a guttural purr.  Didn't think he would have any opinion about the European Mix Peppercorns.   Wrong again.   The action of the round seeds moving in the pouch and the sound they made as they hit each other caught his attention.  His paw shot out to grab them.  On this one occasion I was the faster and spirited them away out of his reach.  No one messes w/ my pepper.
