Water backed up to roadway

Steve the town chairman stopped by last week and asked if I'd like to be of service to my town.  The thought of snapping to attention, executing a smart salute, and answering "Lt. Mayer ready for duty, Sir!" crossed my mind.  Instead I said I'd be happy to help out the town if I could.  There is a bill in front of the State's Legislature  which will help in controlling problem areas along roadways.  However, the issue is one prevalent in the rural Northwoods but not so much in the more populated southern part of the state so the bill will need some help in passing.  Steve is hoping to talk to legislators and he thought explanations would be easier with pictures.  His cell phone pictures weren't cutting it so he asked me to take photos w/ my camera.  He'd let me know when people would be working on the roads.  Got a call this afternoon and I met Steve up on the Firelane where I took pictures of what he pointed out.  Then we drove to Adams road and took pictures there also.  I cleaned up the pics and e-mailed them over to Steve tonight.  Hopefully, they are sharp enough to convince the state reps.
