Sleipnir's trusses arrive

When I got back home from working the election last week there was a stake w/ the word "trusses" written on it stuck in my lawn.    I texted Mike Shipman (the builder) the next morning asking why he didn't want the trusses left on the other side of the proposed building.   The area is closer to the road and there are no obstacles.  He said the cement truck would come in that way and he didn't want anything in their way.  Remembering the minor fiasco w/ the cement truck drivers when I built Mjolnir,  I readily agreed.  Road bans are still in effect here until April 19th. Fortunately I live on a county road and not a town road.  County roads  have a higher weight limit so it was possible for the delivery truck to come in w/ the trusses today.   Took only one guy to unload 12 wooden trusses.    He lifted the front end of the flatbed, unhooked the trusses, and they rolled off to land 'gently' on the turf.  My hazelnut bushes don't look like much right now and are located at the edge of my lawn and the tall grass ... and ... directly behind where the truss sign was located.  I had tied a scarf to each of the bushes hoping they would be noticed and not crushed.  The delivery guy didn't notice them (until I pointed them out) though it didn't matter.  He expertly deposited the trusses precisely where  Mike wanted.
