I deleted my COVID Log. I'd started it early last year and entered daily when and where I went off the property, who I saw for extended periods of time, and my temperature. The thought was if I got sick, it would be easier to track where I got it and who I might have given it.
My neighbor Doug called in the morning and told me to look over toward his place. I walked to the front door and there were huge billows of black smoke and I could even see flames. "It's the old Moore place." Doug said. Doris Moore had lived in the next farm over on Dearhamer Road when I was young. The house had fallen into disrepair and the owner had said he planned on burning it. Last year, Doug and I cut grape vines from there in order to start new plants at our own places. Wondered why he didn't burn it while there was still snow cover? It was raining today so even w/ the snow gone, the fire couldn't have gone far.
Today the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the former president's last lawsuit to overturn my state's presidential election results. There are still four trump/biden signs that I pass whenever I go to town. I cleaned up my files, my neighbor cleaned off an old building, the court cleaned up their docket - can only hope the sign owners will get the hint.
