I ordered a DVD of Philo Vance murder cases. The Movie Channel has been showing all of the Thin Man series in January and I rather liked William Powell. He plays the stylish sleuth Philo in at least one of the dramatizations of the books by S.S. Van Dine in the '20's (wow, that's a century ago). Anyway I picked up the DVD this last week.. Looked forward to watching it until I saw that the item is due back this Tuesday. It's not like this is a new release and there are three disks/six movies in the case. I tried to renew it but there is someone waiting for it (must be another William Powell fan too.) So now I'm faced w/ binge watching the movies, watching only the ones starring William Powell, or (horrors!) having something overdue at the library. Could have worse decisions to make.

Our library has no overdue fees until March. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
