Autumn Gold

Excerpts from Sheriff's Report:

12:15 a.m. - Man in a PT Cruiser crying in the parking lot of the city park.

3:26 a.m. - Report of poachers in a truck firing one gunshot and leaving behind a pool of blood.

8:31 a.m. - Bachelor group reported to be tearing up the road on ATV's.  

9:02 a.m. - Trespassing by hunters and their dogs chasing a bear.  

10:39 a.m. - Harassment by an unknown man who pointed and yelled "you, yeah, you" in the parking lot  of a gas station.

12:40 p.m. - Trespassing by bear hunters reported.  [Same area as the 9:02 group.]

1:30 p.m. - Report of individuals at a bachelor party tearing up town roads with ATV's.  [Same area as at 8:31 a.m. group.]

2:13 p.m. - Report of a green SUV traveling under the speed limit and not allowing other motorists to pass.

3:34 p.m. - Traffic stop for someone traveling at speeds up to 90 mph and was late to a birthday party.  Driver received several citations.

4:30 p.m. - Damage reported at the park of the old elementary school.  Determined damage was the same damage reported the previous week by the same caller.

5:04 p.m. - Kitten found on a roadway.

5:31 p.m. - Welfare check for a single gun shot near Round Lake.  Determined the gun owner fell and his weapon accidentally discharged.  No injuries reported.

5:35 p.m. - Attempt to locate request for a dark blue Dodge Ram involved in a hit and run of an Amish buggy.

5:46 p.m. - UTV rollover involving two kids.

7:12 p.m. - Officer assisted motorist out of gas.

7:44 p.m. - Suspicious person with a flashlight possibly hunting after hours.
